About the Author

Adventure, Transformation, Resilience, Connection with the Divine

My Goal

My goal in life has always been self-development (remember the airlines’ advice to put on your own oxygen mask first, before helping others with theirs?), and then after learning enough mastery techniques to teach others to think easier and be happier. I have a long way to go in mastery, yet every time I taught a class in the colleges (that coursework is in Compass of Hope) I was amazed at the transformation we all underwent. I consider myself a facilitator more than a teacher. I help you open your path to your best possible life.

Many are trying to improve the world by fighting against it, yet until we change ourselves and our mindset first, we cannot change the world. I hope you will join me and travel with me, as I see fantastic possibilities ahead, especially if we act with love and not ignorance and hate.

Education

In her early college years she received a bachelor's degree in Metaphysical Science, a bachelor's in Sociology, and a bachelor's in Urban & Rural Studies, attending the University of California in San Diego. At the age of 55, she began pursuing a five-year higher education degree in metaphysics and its practical applications. In 2014, Cynthia received a Doctor of Philosophy, Ph.D., specializing in Metaphysical Counseling from the University of Sedona, after earning a Master of Metaphysical Science, M.Msc., from The University of Metaphysics. In 2016, after extended training with UC Berkeley’s Greater Good Science Center, she qualified as a Science of Happiness Facilitator.

My Home

She has lived in marshes aboard a Colorado River houseboat, on a creek in the high desert near Sedona, on the Oregon Coast in ocean-front property, atop high mountains and forests in the Western US, and in motorhomes. She currently lives in the beautiful, legendary Great Smoky Mountains where she loves to hike to waterfalls and write poetry. She appreciates meaningful, meaningless, and beyond-meaning conversations, but mostly, nowadays, she relishes mindfulness if not silence.

Cynthia's books offer profound insights and practical tools for navigating life's challenges.
